Default ST170 lambda Ford or other brand?

Hi,

I need a front lambda sensor for my ST.

Ford are a whopping £167

Does anyone know who makes them for Ford?

Are another brands, i.e. NGK just as good?

TIA

Buy cheap, buy twice to be honest. My daughters Polo needed a sensor and cat. Mate put an OE vw sensor and a cheapy cat on it and was fine for the 2 years we kept it.

The problem with modern cars is that the heater of the Oxygen sensor is monitored.
Different makes of Oxygen sensors often have different resistance in the heater.
And that will trigger a DTC again and light the EML again.

£167

I bought one from Ford about 3 years ago and it was around 50 quid. Try sending a parts request to car parts express, I buy quite a lot of genuine bits from them.
