Default dyno figures - engine trouble

Dyno with cams and headwork - 130bhp @ 6500 Note: Standard power on the 2.0 is 130!!!!

Dyno with above and:
ST manifold+cat
Magnex
vernier pullies
65mm tb
Unicip

154bhp@6500 I was expecting more, Paul form Dastek said that they could have got more power with a standard head on???
Really cannot understand this, neither can Andy from CHD.

Cams have been set up using vernier pullies, TDC guages and cam swing on dyno.

Please help!

Injectors at their limit? Poorly mapped chip? Crappy head work?
Cams dont work with the head?

Alot of people think they can put any cam with any head and zorst and have it all add up and work together but it doesnt work like that.
If 2 components are designed to work together then you wont get what was intended.
For example if you see dyno gains of 5bhp from cams, 10bhp from the head and 4bhp fro mthe zorst seperately you wont necessarily get 19bhp when you put them on together.
Sorry dude.

Cheers for reply

The guy that did the headwork is very well respected in his field and has a proven ability for what he does. Cyclinder Head Developments (Andy) also chose the cams (Kent Sport). Like he said he has done 20+ same spec head this year alone and hes never had any trouble like this. Strange eh.

Cam timing should be fine as well, they used TDC guages.

I got the Unichip fitted at Dastek in Fife, this is their main office so I cannot believe they set up the chip poorly...

It could well be running lean though, here are the graphs:

Im looking to upgrade to the full RS fueling system in time, but just now il get the fuel pump. Never know, the extra pressure might fix everything and ill be able to give an ST a fright in no time
