focus on cold start

Hi all, my focus judders on cold start when i try to pull away. its only when the engine is cold. any ideas what this problem is. i have to drive over 2500rpm until it warms up cos anything under is undrivable. any help wud be great.

Is it a Focus RS? if so it could be the AE map thats causing it.

I have an ST170 mate and it's like that.It's a safeguard in the ECU so you can't damage a cold engine.I know it's in the 170's but not sure about the Zetec's etc?
