just noticed my passenger front tyre is completly bald, cant afford a brabd new 215/45/17 this week, but been given x2 225/45/17 dunlops for nothing. its the passenger front thats gone, would these dunlops go straight on the front or will they rub, or would they go on the back and i throw the backs to the front,

They will go on fine i would stick the wider dunlops on the rear though

 

they should be fine as its there only gonna be 5mm ish closer to the shocks.

i agree with sp3no though and put them on the rear or it'll be more tail happy than usual and you might find a tree...

Mine came with 225/45/17 all round. its a bit confusing as they're on st170 alloys but obviously they should be 215...
I've had no problems with tire+bodywork issues too

 

ive got 205/40/17 on as i got them for free when i bought a set of wheels of ebay. lol they guy wanted rid of them and they were almost brand new, only thing is its really hard on the bumps with eibach drop.

 

^^^ bit off topic I know, but the 205 width wheels your on about, did they come off of a black zetec s round norfolk way?
