When should this be changed please fellas?
My old mans car has only covered 33k but he's slightly paranoid since the belt snapped on his old car

The belt itself is supposedly guaranteed to 100000 miles, BUT, if there is any failure of the tensioner before this it is apparently not covered.
Most Focus owners I know who carry out preventative maintenance usually change the belt and pulleys aroung the 60 - 70k mark.
