Default zorst pully on st170 does it work!

Hi all can anyone confirm that changing the zort pully to a vernia pully an changing the degree of it give you extra power??

i have come to a point with my st where i have fitted a filter bluefin zorst and i want more power! but i dont know which way to go, i was thinking on doing a turbo conversion but i might aswell buy an Rs so does anyone have any ideas what i can do to gain extra power.....

come on girls get ur heads workin an come up with some ideas for me..

Yes it does work. If fitted correctly and dialled in by a dyno operator it can see a 10BHP gain. Think mine was the first done in the UK. Fast Ford also did a write up of it too.
From 184 BHP and 153lbs/ft with Bluefin to 194BHP and 161lbs/ft with the addition of the vernier cam pulley.

i was only asking because i was talking to some guys and they said it didnt work! i thought if it didnt work why would pf do a write up on it..

have you got any numbers to call for this..or do you know a place which will do it who will no the correct settings as i think i remember its 15deg ???

I had mine done at power Engineering. IIRC mine was set to 6 degrees retard on the exhaust cam.
Best thing to do is phone around a few local specialists with dyno facilities.

when i put my bluefin on i couldnt really tell it was on thats why i want to do do this cam pully!
