depends on cash situation,

-31 = £65
Mappable Chip = £300
Cam = £300ish
Exhaust = £300ish
KnN = £60ish
FM intercooler = £400
Samco Boost Hoes £125
Good Setup = £120ish

But do the above and ya looking nearer 200bhp and that should be very safe at the same time

wouldnt bother with a cam personally... add another £200-300 to get a better clutch after the mods have been done that includes fitting... dont go crazey with the boost (max 15 psi) reliablity, listen to what the tuner tells you and dont fart about with it when its been set up, pay him a visit every year and enjoy the car.

Exhaust
k&n (panel filter in standard airbox)
-31
chip
fm itercooler
and setup by a good tuner

The standard ford cam is good for 200bhp+ and so is the standard ford clutch so the above should see you to around 170-180

Exhaust (NOT scorpion) goose or magnex.
unlimited boost chip
-31
new cam would be fine uprated would be better
bigger IC isnt essential, but also would help as it would be near it's limmits
13psi

should see between 170-180@fly on a good engine.

Johnny, where you planning on taking it to get it set up etc? i reccomend AVA for this neck of the woods, fit everything yourself beforehand tho!

fitting stuff myself wouldnt be an issue really dave, but obviously setting up would need to be somewhere like ava, heard good things about ava

Got to agree with Davie, AVA are great, really freindly and full of advice.

They set my S1 up and what a difference it made, they suggested i get a standard Airbox, which iv done, and change my exhaust, which i havent done, YET.....

Mine got Magnex, K & N, chip and still on standard intercooler running at 14 psi. Everyone reckons it's a 185 chip who has driven it but will it be running at 185 bhp with just these mods?

DAVIE- Theirs now a few S1's in and around glasgow, would be really great to get a picture of them all together..

DRY- It really depends on how it was setup, and who done the tuning, when i got mine tuned i was told to dump the K&N cone for a standard box with the front cut off, though still using a K&N panel filter, as this can lead to more power, and i was aslo told to dump my Scorpian exhaust for a magnex, but i do love the sound of the scorpian
