if you lie on the floor and push your arm up past the radiator(roughly in the middle) you can reach the ctach and push it accross to open the bonnet. then go order a new release cable from Ford

Only time I had this was when I changed the catch and striker and forgot to put the cable back on. Soon as I dropped the bonnet I knew what I had done.

I used a bicycle pedal spanner and stuck my arm up to release it. You do NOT want to be doing this if the turbo is still hot as the smell of your own flesh burning isn't nice

get somone to lean on/off the bonnet as u pull on the cable. sometimes it's not the cable but infact the latch that is stiff.

when you do get it open make sure its workin 110% before you go anywere in it, these babys are prown for flippin the bonnets open!!!!

unless you want to fit new bonnet, hinges, scuttle panel, window screen and repair your roof!!!!

seen it so many times, luckally not happened to me.
thats why i fitted pins before even taking my car out for its first drive
