Default Break it or Sell it

Just got landed a tidy Escort RS Turbo which has 117000 on the clock, and is still in original condition. I think it still has about 10 months MOT and some Tax left on her. Just wondering which would be the best option, coz, everyone seems to be breaking there RS Turbo’s rather then selling them whole these days. In which case would i stand to make more money breaking her rather then sell her whole. Would rather sell her whole coz of the hassle factor involved in breaking it. She is in excellent condition, and i would prefer to sell her whole. Could anyone advise me if i would stand to make more then £3500.00 by breaking her, as this is the price iam putting her up for complete.
Interested please PM me.

3500 does seem exsessive, but we don't know what year/spec the car is either yet I picked up my very clean 1 owner 50k genuine mile full 90spec S2 for under 3k last year

In answer to your question about breaking it, well what spec is it, what mods etc, you'd need a fair few trick bits to make more than 3.5k imo.

Give us more to go on

That’s a coincidence, this one is white also, 90' spec, really clean, all standard, only prob i can see is the slightly high mileage, so that’s what made me think £3500 is not a bad starting price, however after reading some of the reply’s, don't recon breaking it would fetch as high as that.

if it was 50k then 3.5/4 thousend would seem ok...

sell it whole mate, only worth breaking if you have loads of goodies, because if u spend, say 7k on bits, you wont get 10k for the car, only 3-4k again... thats y the big power boys break.

No hope of £3500. I honestly think you are aiming about £1000 over the top. If it's really clean and straight I'd advertise it at £2800 and see what happens

For the sake of the hassle breaking it up i'd sell it on as a whole mate, it sounds to me like that's what you want to do really....

If its standard much better to sell as a whole car as you will only sell the big bits and left with all the small stuff ,does it have stuff like all old mots etc and fsh ,as this does help with the price
