i think they will help! esp when moving as insted of just hitting the back of the bay and being pushed down they will spread out and go up and down...only thing bad i can think of it maybe you will be hit by heat all the time!

if ur in traffic, u can clearing see all heat escaping from the back of the bonnet quickly, surely this is better than heating the bluckhead up, even though they are not everybodys cup of tea

Just a precaution: I've noticed that most of the cars with lifters fitted have pins fitted to the bonnet as the angle of the bonnet lock/ latch is increased by the tilt and prone to un-latching itself mid-drive & whacking your windscreen.

Something to think about....I know that it's happened to a couple of cars who DON'T have the lifters fitted, so must be more capable of happening with them fitted.

imho it looks pants but from experience it does seem to aid keeping the underbonnet temps lower. Mine has a set but they are only fitted over the summer (about 2 weeks of the year ).

Do notice a lot of heating coming out of the bonnet now that it is reaised, must be helping with heat soak issues

Also yeah, it'll annoy you in the end with the amount of people saying your bonnets open even had a manager at work come over and see me to tell me that he noticed my bonnet was open on the car in the car park
