Default ZVH HEAD GASKETS

What gaskets (make and part numbers) are people using on their 2 litre conversions?

I am trying to get hold of at the minute a gasket for the 1.9/2.0 CVH that was made in america. Part No 9303PT2 or 9309PT.

Anyone know where I can get one from?

Cheers
Dave

I've used the Zetec 2.0 multi-layer Ford gasket. To fit it the head needs a bit of welding, and then skimming flat. Its about 30 quid from Ford.

Duratec V6 head bolts - but use the CVH washers along with them.

At about 4 corners on this edge - you can see by lining a Zetec gasket up on a CVH head:

Do you guys know anything about the CVH Kevlar gaskets? We had a tuner over here grab one from Italy and we can't find the contact info or whatnot now. I am in the process of building up my 2.0l cvh (yes they were expanded from the 1.9l's over in these parts, from the factory, in 97, discontinued in 02; still ran in the focus sedans; lean-burn cc tho) and I believe I might as well grab a gasket that will hold in there for a good while. My local engine builder actually does a lot of cylinder head work for turboford.org members (mainly 2.3L) and we have been brainstorming the best setup, the kevlar gasket being more my idea. I would like to be up there, hopefully in the 2bar range within the half year. Right now working on finding the closest matching conrod to adapt over.

Thank-you for any help or dirrection.

I was also curious if the CVH bellhousing boltpattern differs with the zetec block bellhousing boltpattern, for ideas concerning a form of a ZVH setup.

Thanks!
brad
