Intermittent boost problems

Default Intermittent boost problems

right then here goes.....

.... i will be driving along in 4th gear and then plant my right foot, but as soon as the rpm reaches about 4000rpm it seems to hesitate and stop pulling but after a few seconds then go again. Also sometimes it wont boost at all

anybody got any ideas???

sounds like you may have an actuator problem there!

I had this problem before and it turned out to be my metering head.

check your bottom boost hose isnt soft, the one into the metering unit, when the turbo sucks this pipe can collaspe causing your problem

cheers peeps, will have a look at them all

getting new actuator soon anyway with Motorsport Developments stage 1 kit
