Default oil/crank case pressure problem (keep killing gaskets)

please can some one help me.
i am only 14 years old and am lucky enough to have an uncle who lets me work on his two rs turbos.
one of the cars (escort running 250+ bhp) has started regularly destroying breathers ang gaskets (sump gasket in particular) and when i say regularly i mean every drive!
i am asuming this is to do with crank case pressure? the car is still on the factory oil breather (bailys is on order)
the wierd thing is that the car seems to have slightly low oil pressure.
should i change the oil pressure relief valve and oil pressure switch?
could my crank case pressure problem be due to worn or incorrect piston rings? also i noticed when i had the sump off the the oil pump is about 1mm to low at one side and 1mm proud at the other where it meets the block (looking at it from under the car) this is the corner that starts leaking first on the sump gasket, do i need to realine the oil pump so it sits flush?
any help would be greatly recieved as i am still learning about these wonderfull machines.
thanks

I don't know a awful lot about RSTurbo's but i would think something up with that oil pump if it isn't sitting square. As far as i remember it isn't adjustable so i can only assume dodgy non genuine ill-fitting pump that is of shite design.

The crankcase issue imho whould probably be worn rings/possible valve guides.

The pump has not been bolted down squarely. There is always a certain amount of movementin the bolt holes which means that when you screw in the bolts, you need to tighten them slightly so the pump can be moved but stay where it is when you move it. Once you're happy that the 2 gasket mating faces for the sump are at equal height, tighten the bolts down. There is the issue that because you are not fitting a new pump or gasket that you cannot do this without stripping the oil pump off and replacing the gasket.

HOWEVER,

It is very unlikely that this minor diference is causing the gasket to leak badly. If it has started to blow out the gaskets randomly, you need to check the breather and pipes are not blocked (the 2 ports off the rocker cover and one from the block to one of the rocker cover ports). You will also need to make sure the baffle in the rocker cover and the port in the block (there is a baffle in this port as well) are clear. These 3 points are what allows the pressure to escape so if they are blocked, the air can't escape.

Failing that then it is time to look at stripping the engine down as there may be an issue with work piston rings.
