Default S2 fuelling issues

Evening all, been here a while reading some of the great information in this forum, but this is my first post.

Ive been putting a puzzle of a project back together for a while now, and its finally on the road, but a little unhappy!

its a S2 which has been played with somewhat, and is suffering a fuelling issue.
ive fitted an AFR gauge as I thought there might be some issues, ive set idle to 14.2. Upon driving it as it spools up it gets very lean, heading towards 16! But if you floor it to WOT, it suddenly drops to 12-12.5. So I know the throttle switch is working.

what controls the enrichent while on boost but not WOT?

some info that might help with the background:

fuel pressure at cold start 5.2 bar.

engine:

forged accralite pistons
steel rods
piper 285T cam
t3 with sierra compressor housing and wheel
10deg clip on turbine wheel.
currently on standard intercooler, but full length ready to fit
superchiped blue/red/black ECU. With knock sensor.
Amal switch fitted, ecu feed 15psi, no supply 9psi, direct to earth 22psi(i m not using it there!!)
something that might be indicative, is that to start it , you have to hold it at wot, and eventually it will start to fire and run (about 6-7 seconds).

Where should I start looking?

cheers in advance!

No expert but the starting issue could be wet plugs if your injectors are 'dripping'. Have to do the same with mine due to this fault, hence new injectors going in.

All the injectors are new, so ive eliminated that 👍.

some more testing though, ive swapped the fuelling ecu, and it made no difference.. thats not to say that my spare ecu isnt faulty too?

ive done a couple of checks that through up some strange results.

if i disconnect the EMFPR, it makes no difference at all to the car? Should it?

So i connected a multimeter in series to the EMFPR, and looked for current flow according to a few manuals I have. Very little showing at all, 0.8 milliamps is all, with no change hot or cold?
Im presuming that its milliamps DC?

stuffed fuel ecu?

I could be barking up the wrong tree but I'm sure there is a fuse marked heated seats or something like that that the car doesnt have but it needs to be fitted.

There is indeed, but I do have power to the ECU. I’ve done a connection check on it and everything else checks out ok. There is power to the air flap position sensor, and the voltage coming back to the ECU seems correct (0.2 - 7.5)
