Default For the experts: fueling issue S2.

Hi guys.

I have got a problem with the fueling of my mk3 cabby with S2 running gear.
It's a hearts and diamonds ECU and fuel module with green sticker. Manifold has knock sensor.
Engine has been fully rebuild, to original spec. New original turbocharger. AIRTEC intercooler, stainless mongoose exhaust, K&N panel filter. New -31 actuator. Now running standard boost. (0.6bar hold, 0,8bar peak). Otherwise stock
Fuel pump is a new uprated Bosch item.
New original bosch injectors.
Ignition timing is set up. Complete distributor is an original Bosch brand new item. Coil is used. New leads. New iridium plugs

So, the problems:
1)With a cold start, it runs on 2/3 cilinders. Just touchin the throttle 1 or 2 times, and After a 5-10 seconds it runs on all 4. Hot start is perfectly on all 4. Disconnected cold start injector, but still starting on 2/3 cyl when cold. Takes longer to start then, as expected. Auxilary air valve opens and closes as it should. I can't find any air leaks. All boost and breather hoses are new. When it is started, the afr meter shows rich.

2) Placed a lambda sensor in the exhaust ( below steering rack, welded in, no leaks) and with an AFR meter (racetech 19led type) , it shows rich on full throttle (Lambda0.87)
Idle is set up with Lambda = 0.97.
Strange thing is that when accelerating on half or at 3/4 throttle, it runs completely lean. First 2 LED's on afr meter, so Lambda > 1.25.
Cruise is nice with Lambda 0.97.
Powerwise its fine on full throttle, but the revs don't like to climb above 5000rpm.
At full throttle boost peaks at 0.8bar, and settling at 0.5/0.6 bar. No boost cut out.
Overrun, and all led's on afr meter go off (as expected)

I measured all connections and sensors on the plug of the fueling KE computer with multimeter. All were in spec.
12v feed and ground are perfect. Relay and heated seat fuse are ok.
Checked the current on the fuel pressue regulator: with the temp sensor unplugged, it get's 52mA with ignition on. According to Ford, it should read 55 to 75mA.
Wires are perfect. Changing ecu and or pressure regulator has no effect. Stays 52mA.
Test with starter motor on is within spec.(150mA)
With throttle open and pushin flap down, it reads a peak of 105mA, but stabilises directly at 52mA. Is this correct? A change on flap position downwards creates a peak in current, but stabelises immediately. This is visible on the afr gauge aswell during driving.

I checked all temp sensors ( coolant for fuelling, for ignition and charge air temp.
I checked flap position sensor.
I checked throttle switch.
I exchanged both computers for spares...

Fuel flow has been checked, and is within spec. Pressure still needs to be checked, because I don't own a fuel pressure gauge.

What is wrong with the fueling??
Changing the fuel pressure regulator for a spare one, improved it a bit, but not much.
Going to try to adjust the regulator now.

I don't know any expert firms in The Netherlands regarding the KE-jetronic.

Could anyone help me to find the problem? I can live withe the cold start 3 cyl. Problem, but I need to have the fueling 100%........

Thank you!!

Really could do with someone who knows what they are doing working on it to test setup and tune etc.

Your lambda sounds like a narrow band?
How have you confirmed it's starting on only 2/3 cylinders, pulling plug leads?
