Default Who to use for carbon fibre ? Who takes on custom work ?

Looking for a few bits for my series 2 build

Want a bonnet but must have carbon vents, would like a tailgate or spoiler in carbon or ideally both. Wouldnt mind trying a fuel cap and some door handles stuff like that.

Spoke to the man who runs a relitively new company who make interior panels for the mk4 escort LWS Design, he seems the best man at the moment. The only one who hasn't just said no chance to date. If i can twist his arm to try me some vents then ill buy the lot from him!!

Full tailgate is the dream

Any ideas people ?

Phil @ carbon delight did my roof, a pillars and bonnet.

He is super busy with contract work, but his quality is second to none

Makes you say that Jay ? have to say he was the nicest bloke ive spoken to yet the only one who says it may be possible. The others dont seem that fussed. Carbon delight wont make anything custom. I want a bonnet but it has to have carbon vents or i may aswell keep ther steel one. As it stands now id rather give my money to LWS LOL

LWS did my door cards. Said they'd take 2 weeks, so I rang after a month and was told they were done and about to be sent. 2 weeks later I rang again and was told by the boss they were still waiting for a machine then mine would be made. So I explained I'd already been promised they had been made and he didn't know what to say. Sent me the cards a week later with 25% refunded as a goodwill gesture.

Tried an LWS design front spoiler on my mk1 golf. Fitment wasn't all that and there were a fair few pinholes in the carbon especially apparent when viewing in sunlight. Not very impressed for the price tbh.

Same as my door cards. Hold it up to the light and they look like a cheese grater

Thanks for all the info lads

Prob give LWS a miss then if thats the case, have a blast at making some door cards myself. Scraping the idea now for bonnet, not that bothered seems a mess about. Could just make some black plastic ones to save some cash
