Default Limit of a standard Cvh?

What's the safe limit to take a standard fiesta turbo engine too?

The turbo will hit its limit before the engine mate

Get a stage 2 or stage 3 turbo and the Siemens injectors with your ofam and you will have a nice 200/220bhp

You will need a up rated clutch too

240bhp I would say is the limit, and to be honest if I was going for the hybrid turbo I would get a Newman phase 4 cam, double valve springs and solid lifters

Although I think a totally stock engine with ofam, injectors and stock rst t3 with -31 actuator and fmic will get around 200bhp and drive brilliant

That's the answer I was looking for

Think anything more than 240 would be wasted

Yeah around 240bhp without bouncing off the limiter all day long is ok, the rods are the weak point... but depending on mileage and how it's been looked after it could break at much less.

Standard t3 I'm not going to go to far with the cvh as I'd rather go zetec if I'm going to buy rods and pistons I'd rather it be for a larger engine

I think rouse do a hybrid hose

For conversions, I got off the shelf hoses for my zetec conversion?

Get it all running on the cvh you have and have a lovely punchy 200bhp

Then when you are bored, 2.0 zetec with 1.8 sump set up, inlet and exhaust adaptor plates and new coolant hoses
Drill out your flywheel bolts and fit a uprated clutch

Then remap = job done with your turbo rebuilt too stage 3

Yep it was that one I think I'll make something up nearer the time and just make what I have work now

I can get my hands on some vxr injectors 75 posted so ill prob grab them I'd be happy with 200 and as I have basically a standard engine i think the 630s might be abit wasted as I don't intend to do any more to the engine for a while

I would say 190- 200 max this would allow you to drive it hard and be reliable as long as your engine is pretty sound to start with.make sure it has a decent clutch my s2 was 185bhp @ 15 psi never missed a beat ,ripped out engine built a 240bhp zvh and had nothing but grief engine itself was ok but every thing else around it seemed to fall apart . and the torque steer was awful

I have too agree

But people should remember that putting a 100+ extra bhp on a car is going too need some work

The jump from 185 too 240 is massive, you then need
Better coolers
Hoses
Mounts
Efi conversion
Brakes
Suspension
Clutch
And gearbox

So sometimes if your happy at 180/190bhp just leave it lol
