fuel pump problem

i am 99.9% sure the problem is not the earth wire as i tested that with no faults showin.i would agree its one of the trigger wires.i will just have to dig deeper!

I think if anything it's going to be a pulsed voltage from the coil where the fault is.

These type of relays only energise when the pulsed voltage goes to whatever pin, so that if the car stalls it shuts fuel off.

If im right, you should be able to test with a meter:
terminal 1 to earth and then 15 to earth, you should have 12v at these whilst trying to start,
Try that before pulling everything apart.

It may be a pulsed on/off voltage not constant, but without testing it we won't know.
