Default Need help!!! Brakes doing my head In lol!

Hi people hopeing someone can help ...... The brakes in my Rs are crap!! The pedal is really spungy have to double pump them to get them to work and even then there not that great I have repiped them to the master and changed the servo and master they got alittle better but still rubbish . I have gravity bled and pressure bled them and got all the air out the backs are alittle slow to bleed but no air in them!? Any ideas ??? Would be much appreciated

Have you repiped them the correct way? Have you still got ABS fitted?

Yeah had a mechanic that's worked on loads of rs's do it and abs has been removed

Did something get disturbed/changed to cause the spongy feeling originally or did it just 'happen' one day?

Was like it when I bought the car last September thought it would be easily fixed should of kept my old one lol!

Either air is getting in/fluid escaping as above (but you should see the level drop in the reservoir or see weepage somewhere). Or your MC is shot

is it standard brake setup?
if you have the rubber flexi hoses clamp them to see if you get a pedal

Yeah it is mate. You mean the hoses to the calipers ? Ok will give that a go cheers

Had this before and it's a nightmare.eventually the good old two person method of bleeding them a few times sorted it.thought all the air was out but wasn't.
