Hi Guy's, I am new to the site so please be gentle lol.

My mondeo has went into limp mode it had the glow plug light flashing, and then when I restarted the glowplug light is not on but I still do not have the power.

I have done a scan and its come up with 3 codes:

Code 1 - P1000 - Is an indication on the rear brake light is a bit dodgy
Code 2 - P0251
Code 3 - P1000 P - Same rear brake light faulty

Can you help me please?

 

P1000 is not a fault and definitely has got nothing to do with the brake light.
Is is information only that some internal tests have not yet completed.

P0251 has got to do with the high pressure fuel pump.

 

So what would you advise first to do to try and fix the issue?
