Default Starting problem

Newbie to this site looking for some help

I have a 1990 H plate Erst

Been standing for a while but occasionally
starting it up
Recently it stopped starting , can't hear the fuel pump coming in on the the ignition
I have changed the pink fuel relay still nothing

Any ideas before changing pump

Battery fully charged , turns over , don't hear fuel pump just click on the ignition when u go to turn it over

power probe to the fuel pump and test the voltage at the pump, if you can use a switchable probe you can use it to see if it powers the pump

also check for spark as you wont get an injector pulse without a spark.

its the thing with rs turbos it can be anything

and is the relay you fitted a new item or second hand, theres a lot of dead ones for sale these days, a way of seeing if the relay is the cause is to bridge the relay and if the car starts then it needs a new one

Could be the fuel pump seized itself. I parked mine up in my garage for the winter, the pump seized.
