Efi 2.1 zvh to run mfi
Hi I've seen a 2.1 zvh engine but its efi and mynes running mfi. I just want to do a straight engine swap and not mess around with the loom and that, is it possible to put the mfi inlet on the efi head or would I have to change the head?? Cheers Ryan

A bit old hat though isn't it? For the extra refinement, wouldn't it make sense to put the effort in for EFI?

Hmmm think ill just stick with the engine I'm building at the min then, I'm prity clued up on mfi but I don't have a clue with efi and can see it been exspensive and a bit of a pain with me not having a clue, I've got a rebuilt bottom end with low comp accralite pistons n that and a stage 3 big valve head, with a decent hybrid turbo I was lookin for bout 190 Bhp so by the sounds of it ill just stay away from the zvh for now. Cheers lads

Old hat yes but, the injector is already in the cross over pipe and plumbed into the metering unit and I got a controller and wiring for about Ł150 plus Ł150 to be wired in and set up makes it about Ł1000 cheaper than going efi

Wouldn't have a clue how to wire the 5th injector kit up tho, would just have to buy it and hope the tuner new how to sort it for me, do you think it's worth going down the 5th injector root if just running the 1.6 bottom end wi the low comps n stage 3 head n turbo?? Or only worth having if your running 2.0 litre plus bottom end??

don't think they are that hard to wire up but i am shit with electricts so im paying for it to be wire in and set up about Ł180. they are good for getting a better afr across the range, to get enough fuel for full boost the metering unit will end up being very rich at normal driving. it means not only can you add fuel at the top if needed but less fuel when you don't.
