Default Sunroof problems!

Has anyone had any porblems with there sunroof poping out at the front! drove mine today i was doing about 90mph and the sunroof litted on the front lettin the wind noise in! is it just a case of a new seal or new wires?

No, cant say I have had the prob, usually just opening it and it getting stuck so have to push it down at front, and bits or crap coming in when at high speed, lol

i think its just unseated itself out of the securing runners at the front. dont supose anyones got a pic of the sunroof assembly on microcrat?

fixed it, just the plaggy sucuring thingy had bent a little, dosnt pop up anymore!

I get bits of rust and stuff coming out from the sunroof when on the motorway also! I think its the actual sunroof runners and not the bodywork thou - at least I can change that!

it was the runners, the passenger side one had collapsed, gona order a new one today!

hmm not impresed ford wreckon i cant order the seperate bits, i need to order the whole mechanism, but thats £300! so im after a sunroof mechanism, i need the metal bit that goes round the glass which the runners screw into!

I know I keep advertising Mad-for-it but I reckon they'll have a good second hand one if you can't find one in a local scrappy - cos they've broken loadsa XR3is, ghias, turbos. Number is 01579 320070.
