Oil breathers
Im going to get a custom made breather tank that mIrrors the header tank i reckon, save some space around the inlet and injectors and also make it much easier to route the goodridge hose and fittings.
Has anyone ever done this before ?
I know Gus has his breather mounted where the battery used to be, considered this but also want to be a little different. It was a common thing in the Cos world so thought it may work on my RST.
Any pics ?

Got to luv it Gus, just when i think i know the score you go and change it hahaha!!!
Yeah was thinking of doing it on the opposite inner wing as the fuel filter will no longer be mounted there and i just think with all the sexy new Goddridge stuff in balck and silver it will really work well under the bonnet.
Want it to look as o/e as pos in a way, kind of like a factory built track weapon
Mind you if i cant get in touch with wayne i may not be able to get Pro Alloy to make it which is what i want to do. Tomorrows mission is sod emails lets make a phone call. Need to order rad and fans so may aswell get him to spec my breather tank whilst sorting my rad
Cheers people i really must take some pics its so bloody cold in my barn these last few weeks it horrible. Dedication

around 10 years ago i had to convince him to paint his lovly shiny tanks black for my Saph as i was not a fan of anything polished but wanted the extra reliabilty and looks you get from the alloy stuff!! Needless to say its something most companys now offer!!
He even did me a rad for the Saph at cost as i had in issue with a persons front garden, even though the rad was scrap he made sure i got a new rad and really helped me out!!
Ive been a bit slack with my phone calls and if im honest cant remember if i was supposed to make a dummy one up for pipe locations so its prob my bad!!
Wouldnt use anyone else if im honest Gus

Not the best pics, but this is the one i made on my old series 2 in 2001, It was a mirror image of the GRS header tank, i put a few baffle plates in there, a motorbike K&N filter and a tap on the bottom to drain.

Yeah thats the idea Gadget, although i wont be having a small tank into a large tank, just going to pipe it up to the main tank then drsain back to the sump and have a vent pipe towards the rear
Just spoke to Wayne hes gettting started on my stuff next week
Happy days
