can anyone tell me why when i start my car up it runs lumpy bit if i give it a good rev it runs ok..

 

Needs setting up really mate, could be anything. A setup by a good tuner will identify the problem if not fix it altogether

 

turn it on and get a test on battery terminals and check voltage, if its below 12 volts give it a rev and recheck terminals and if its pulling 13-14 volts its your blue wire to alternator.
my xr3i used to do it till i replaced wire?
