Default rear drum swap??

Im ditching rear discs for std mk4 rear drums. but i wondered if mk5 drums will bolt on the mk5 back plate because they look the same and they have studs in. better for my sierra rims

I think you would mind it much easier to drill a mk3 or 4 rear hub and press studs into that.

Cheers

i would go to a breakers and get some from a focus or fiesta brake drum, you could always get a engineers to drill the hubs and press the studs in.

ive had issues with the rears locking ever since ive fitted discs, the cars stripped out so the rears lighter and needs less braking power so cossy brakes are too much for my car.
i run a bias valve fully reduced and slotted pads but it still locks!
the slotted pads means the handbrake doesnt work that well which is poo for mots!
im going for std mk4 drums with studs fitted in.
