Which is why you dont want good oil for running in,
You only get 1 chance at it, and doing it right determines if it will be a good en or not,
Millers do a running in oil for Ł15 5ltrs
Start it, and use it! Make the engine work how its going to work the rest of its life!
Mine was doing 1.6 bar within an hour of been started

I know what you mean mate as it goes against what you think is right...
But the rings and bore have got to take to each other to get the best performance from the engine,
If you pu55y about for too long they wont take 100% and your new engine will either use oil or never pull has hard as it "could" or both of those things...
The "only" danger that should arise is the rings could break if you havnt done the ring gaps correctly...
But this goes back to what i said too.... If it goes wrong... It wasnt built right

Don't forget to add a ZDDP additive to your break in oil.
This will greatly help camshaft/lifter break in.
The zink additives have been all but removed in engine oils. For old engines that use flat tappets the ZDDP additive is a must.

Thanks for the advice i'll be sire to get some of that
Now another question , my engine builder told me to start the engine run it for 5 minutes then drop the oil . Now would you use millers running in oil for the initial start up and then drop it and replace it with millers running in oil ?

If you want to do it the way your engine builder says then yes just keep using the miller running in oil,
Altho there is no real reason to drop oil so soon afterwards... The oil filter stops debris...

Its a strange one this , this is the first engine ive had built and its cost thousands with the management aswell so want it done right . You get told one thing off the guy that built the engine so you aotomatically think thats gospel . And then others like yourself who have run new engines in before say different
