removing rev limiter on s2 ?

ok what should the rev limiter come in at as mine seems to cut in at 6000rpm and still seems to be pulling up to that point and would beyond but main reason im asking is i am running a 285t2 cam and really dont like it and was looking at a cvh34 cam and the write up states power 1500rpm to7000rpm but so many cams to choose from i don't know what one to go for i take it the rev limiter is built into ecu and mine is a bajoo one

thanks for all your advise where would i find out which way round the tps wires would have to be as there are only three so wouldn't be hard and i have also heard about running a vacuum pipe from the fuel pressure regulator to inlet is there any truth in this or any advantage as its open to atmosphere at the moment and most cars have a vacuum to the for thanks

For what it's worth to an old thread;
From what we've worked out while trying to understand the MFi system best as we can, the fuel pressure reg vented to atmos is a crude form or barometric correction to the 'base' fuel pressure.
As we know the rise in pressure is taken care of by the ecu and the fuel pressure adjuster fitted to the distribution head. The base pressure it rises from is set by the baro correction.
I like to think of the electronic adjuster as more of a flow destructor than pressure adjuster. Easy way to test is to put fuel pressure gauge at each point in the fuel lines around dist head and suck/blow a tube pushed over the nipple on the pressure reg.
