Default wheres the idle valve?

where is this on the EFI engine? my revs are sat on 950 and need to be upto 1000 as its almost stalling.

Left of the thorttle body , has a air hose that goes to the charge pipe

if its sat at 950 it shouldnt be nearly stalling?

That's where it should be sounds like the fuel to air mixture is wrong . Take it to get setup

Thats what i mean, my efi idled around 920ish even with piper cam in it.

Yup my efi idles between 850 and 950 depending on temperature/load.

I was wondering what you were going to do having located the valve because as far as I know they aren't manually adustable

i went for a set up but they said the fuel ect was ok....



i never realised you cant adjust it............i have kent cam, lifters, adjustable pully....engine has only done 825 miles from being rebuilt.....

can i get the timing set at a garage or does it have to go on the rolling road?

The only thing you can adjust on a EFI setup is the idle CO and base fuel pressure so no you can't adjust your ICV... And as said your idle RPM is fine, if it's nearly stalling it must be something else.
