thinking of getting afr gauges and poss egt so i can moniter my fuelling and if neccessery adjust accordingly. car is on mfi atm and aside from fmic/stage 3 turbo is more or less std. just wondered whats involved in fitting. im thinking of the stack gauges as the quality is there and notice the big hp boys seem to like stack.
To answer your question... You just need to drill the down pipe and weld a boss in for the WBO2, EGT probe needs to be nearer the exhaust ports so in the manifold would be a good choice.
Wiring is very simple too.
Ive just got an innovate wideband gauge,im just thinking when I fit the bung in the downpipe does it need to sit flush with the inside of the exhaust,i was also thinking of putting it just behind the sump so the sensor doesnt get too hot, does this sound about right?
good point. as karlos said, the egt needs to be close ish to the ex port ie manifold. is the wideband less critical to where its situated? could it go on the downpipe aft elbow?
I dont see why not. The signal will have more delay further down the gas stream but depends how accurate you need. A sensor in the tailpipe is good enough for testing/map tweaking.

Thats where mine is and all the ones I've fitted for others.

Not that I've noticed and we dont use decat pipes... Because we never had cats!! lol
