Default Escort S2 Engine Problems !!

Hi my name is André and i come from Germany. Sorry but my english is not so Good.

I'm new here and have a big problem with my S2. My Escort has boost but no power. I don't know what it is and despair slowly .... the engine is completely new turbocharger is only the old. I feel like I'm riding on a rubber band. The electronics can have an error?

before the engine has been re-made everything worked. before the engine rebuild I had a boost pressure of 0.2 bar and now I have 0.4 to 0.5 bar.

I don't know if you understand my problem, but maybe you can help me. Thank you.

Boost pressure should be 0.5 bar as standard, have you set the timing correctly to 12 Degree's BTDC at idle with the vacuum hose disconnected from the ECU and blocked?

Next week I will check the timing and maybe it works then

when the engine is cold is also often smoke and extreme. when the engine is warm, it runs perfectly, and no longer smokes. maybe that's a problem?

You MUST set the timing correct or you will be down on power.
What colour smoke, blue, black or white?
