Default Zetec Turbo Head Help !!

Hi, currently lookin at building a zetec turbo engine, done some research on here so think I kno what I'm doin!! He says!

Jus a couple of questions I'm hopin for help with -

Got a 2 litre silvertop bottom end, but I've read the blacktop head is better for flow and has solid lifters etc, will a blacktop head fit on a silvertop bottom end?

And lastly are all 2.0 blacktop heads the same? ie focus, mondeo or whatever?

Any help!!

You can bolt the head on but the pully and tensioner setup are different so wont be a straight fit.

Just buy a complete engine. The silvertop no doubt bolts near enough straiht in im assuming and the black top doesnt, and so depending on your power output the silver top may be fine. The black top is a better engine though!

I would usually! But I've already bought a brand new silvertop bottom end complete, an would rather use this now! Think i'm gonna stick to a silvertop head now anyway, I'm only lookin for approx 300bhp an I think I've read that a silvertop head will do this easy so might as well!

cheers

Stock bottom end will not reliably take 300bhp, maybe 250bhp.
