Default efi mfi tps sensors and omex question

I have omex on my rst to make it efi
Its currently on a mfi inlet converted to run efi injectors.
I want to fit my efi inlet which is from a escort efi and apparently the same as a fiesta rst inlet.

The throttle position sensors are different on the two throttle bodys.
The plug will fit both types of tps I think,so just wondering,,,,,
Can I simply plug in the efi one and swap manifolds and the omex will understand it?
Or do I need to fit the tps from the converted mfi inlet on the efi one?

Hope im making sense here
Heres the 2 different tps

the first picture looks like a pf09 tps, from a cossie 4x4. They cost a fortune new.

second picture looks like a frst item, either should work, but you need to make sure its wired up correctly. Each sensor will have a 5v pin, a signal pin and a earth.

It also should work with your omex. Just make sure the wiring is the same. And then you'll probably have to recalibrate the TPS.

what you need to do is end up with something like this..

The management system between omex and weber is no different regarding sensor's. The only difference is the ECU and loom. If you have a good enough omex ecu you will also require the sequential cam/phase sensor.

Thanks for the input guys

Jano, good to talk to you earlier.
GOnna get it up and running on the mfi inlet for now then I'll have to come visit you for some mods and a bit of mapping.

As every one says above, you will need to re calibrate the ecu, its very simple to do, you can use either type of throttle body, which ever fits essentially.

You only need a cam position sensor if you are running fully sequential, which isn't essential and doesn't yield a 'massive' benefit over batch fire. Even using sequential injection i would still use wasted spark. I've been playing with sequential injection on mine, the benefits you see require much much more mapping time to get everything spot on, individual injector trimming and well set up injector timing etcetc.

Good luck
