Is anybody using the IB5 gearbox and rs trubo AP 4 paddle clutch? I used it on my ZVH and they coped fine but im changing to full zetec and i know these make more low down torque. The AP website has confused me because they rate the 4 paddle (CP2015-8) as 169 lbsft but i was getting 253lbsft with my ZVH.

So the answer i really want to know is has anybody used them and what power and torque are you running.

i got a 320bhp zetec with a 4 paddle helix clutch and its fine even when i launched it all day at pod

Mtx box and focus rs clutch is the only way to go in my opinion.

A zetec turbo will eat an ib5 box in no time

I ran a Zetec turbo with a ib5 for almost to years did about a 100 runs down the 1/4 mile

The clutch will be fine,long as you use the correct pressure plate.

The future plans will be an MTX setup but i dont really want it off the road and into the summer months.

What power was you runing ?

Im using the complete AP paddle clutch kit ( pressure plate and paddle CP2015-8)
