Cool Cold start problem, lumpy

1987 escort rs turbo mk 2

When starting it was very hard to start and when it finally started pressing the accelerator at all would stall it untill it got hot, found out it could be the cold start circuit which is the heated seat fuse if I'm correct, we put a fuse in the heated seat fuse and when we started it, it started fine and could rev it and was fine, apart from it is lumpy as anything like its only just running on 2cylinders we have found a few plugs disconnected anyone know much about the cold start system or what to check for??

I have always had my cold start disconnected was told to do this by my mapper, apparently its not need for our british weather. Starts first time cold and hot.

I think your problem is something else.

mmm, I rec-connected it and it started straight away. Lumpiness seems to have gone away with fuse in, so looks like that was problem!

Im sure the I saw posted, something about that heated fuse switch being something to do with the fueling ecu. May be wrong but It would make sense
