Says 28psi on the net

But at that it will wear out quick

On a decent cvh with after Market management 250bhp is easy to get but they run out of puff past that

I don't think you'd need 28psi to acheive 250bhp...
Karlos managed 230bhp at around 19/20psi on a stage2 t3, so a stage 3 presuming it has a larger exhaust housing should make even more bhp at the same boost!

Most of whats been said above is not really relevant and the original question is almost impossible to answer as it depends entirely upon the engines VE (remember boost pressure is relative), Roger makes reference to this when he compares my old stage 2 turbine housing to a stage 3 one (.36 and .48) as this increases the engines VE.
Asking what the turbo can flow for BHP wise is fine and on a 1600cvh with a very very good VE the answer is just over 300bhp.

If the OP is wanting to know what to turn the boost up to then the answer of course is dont turn it up at all! Take to a tuner and have it done safely.

Hi karlos cheers for the advice and everyone involved, the main problem i had was do I go t34 or stay t3, I went for t3 cos I dont want the lag of a t34 and really want a punchier set up.

Thanks Ben

I would stick with the T3 on a 1600cvh IMO
