Default koni adjustables 35 mm drop and it sits higher than no dropped springs??

why is this, put them on yesterday and my car sits well high? roughly 3inch gap from wheel to arch and its sitting on 17s?? really annoyed but it does handle loads better and is solid? anybody have any ideas why its so high?

this is mine lowered on 30mm with koni adjustables, in the beginning it's always higher.
After a little drive it was lower already because i was jacked up at first, but in time it drops just a little more.
btw sorry for the huge picture , still new to photobucket and pictures in forums..

i had koni -30, now eibachs -30mm and they are the same.
Another thing is it normal for the rear to always be higher than the front.
kind of bugs me.

Perhaps the springs you took off have sagged over the yrs they have been on.

for what its worth, i think it sits nice. better then been low at the rear/ high upfront. i think they need a few miles to bed from what i can gather.

I reckon your old springs were shagged. And I prefer 15's too, no clearance issues and you can still

I have Koni Adjustables on the cabby, it doesn't sit as low as it did with the cheapy lowering springs that were on there but its evenly proportioned front/back and the ride is spot on.

As mentioned maybe the old springs were shagged.

On a mk4 they're the same, but as the Turbo sat a feww mm lower than the standard they're always listed separately as the measurements are different.

MK3's may be different due to the variations of strut tops.

kinda what I meant. surely a turbo in std form sits lower than a bonus. so some spring kits quote rst - 25 mm or escort mk4 -25mm. I got a 25mm koni kit on my s1 and sits like std IMO??? also seems little higher on front??? fucking shed.
