Default overheating

hi, fixed my running and turbo problem.
turns out my igntition timing was all wrong and my strobelight is broken...
Timing actually fixed my running and turbo problem, finally have some boost
Now i still have one problem the car is overheating well at least i think it is.
Put in a MSD fan switch , 82°C thermostat and temprature sender but still the car is running between norm and red.
The fan comes in between norm and red too.
Just hope i didnt damage the radiator when refitting my turbo from the rebuild, i hit something but cant really see any damage..
Or is the temp gauge fooling me?

All answers are welcome , thanks

Edit : between norm and red i mean between the n of norrm and red, it sometimes goes to the O.

Does the fan come on and go off by itself?

yes it comes on and goes off by itself but it comes on very late.
does it matter how you connect the fan switch like + and - ? cause you have to cut off the original connector and put on another.
But actually i dont know if it really is overheating, i bought a temp sender from MSD and i dont know if its playing up or damaged.
It's like the car is heating up pretty quickly, after like 2-2.5 kilometers the temperature is almost at the M from normal and it really goes up quickly.
When the temp reaches between n from norm and the red it suddenly goes down again.. to about o from norm..
I really need a quick solution cause i need the car for work..
My parents are bringing me to my work which is really embarressing

Looking at the msd site it says the switch can be wired either way,

If the fan is coming on and off I wouldn't be so worried,

Is your thermostat in good condition, also how is the gauge when driving?

haven't really checked the thermostat when it opens, but it's only 2 months old and didn't look damaged or anything.
Maybe i'll just get the housing off and check everything.
All the things i wrote in my previous posts is while driving.
it's always so high up the gauge.
i never let the car idle that long to get it up to that temprature.
I'll get a new temp sender from ford self , as i trew away my old ford one..
The rs turbo has a self bleeding cooling system right or do i still have to do something to it?

Thanks

have you checked if your engine is actually getting too hot? once the temp gauge reads red pull over and see if your engine is hotter than normal, the gauge might be dodgey because of the thermostat. as mentiioned above whats the condition of your thermostat? might be worth having a look at it. its only 3 bolts to undo it. i had a similar problem like this, changed the thermostat with a msd one and got a new rubber seal as the old one was f*cked. once it was changed i never had another problem with it the gauge telling me that the car was overheating

jup in belgium
I'm going to make an appointment for a setup in Holland, but first i want to take on this little problem. i'm just not driving it anymore like this.
Can they fully setup a car that is still running in from a rebuild ?
Or is it ok to use full boost (0.55 bar ) for a short period of time just for the setup?
ive got like 28 kilometers with the rebuild engine..

Thanks for the help

what color code of temperature sender does the rs turbo from 1986 have?
I'm really starting to think its just the temp sender fooling me because the fan always jumps on really high up the gauge and it's not that hot really...
According to a friend there are 3 colors..
My 1st cilinderhead had the right one but they trew it in a metal container that is now full of other stuff so i just cant find it anymore

with the pink one in the water temp gauge goes to just under red. but when i check the temprature with a laser or a thingy with 2 wires on it shows 92 degrees..
Purple one is the same. Really want to know why it is showing so high up the gauge..
