ideally you should measure the length before you first use them. I've never found one that has stretched though so you will more than likely have no problem re using them.

What connecting rods are the ARP bolts for?
Once this is known, the correct part number can be found along with
the correct torque (or stretch value).

Every bolt stretches including ARP's.
In fact your are ment to stretch an ARP conrod bolt to the stated value when fitting.

These are for PEC rods but gives you an idea to what is required.
If you email me the part number of the bolts i will give you the correct measurements.

Agreed, they nearly always seem to spring back, only ever had one stretch and it was secondhand before it got to me and had probably been overtightened previously or may even have been a copy sadly!

You are confusing what Rick is talking about when he says about stretching, he means that once you remove them, they should return to their original unstretched size.

They should never been taken past the point of elascicity so they permenantly stretch.

The part number for cvh ARP rod bolts is 151-6004 an 8mm bolt.
Stretch 0.0055" to 0.006" or 25 ft. lbs torque using ARP lube on the threads and under bolt head.

Cheers

I would only use ARP bolt lube with the 25 ft. lbs. torque spec.
However, if you use a different lube (or oil) you will have to use a stretch gauge
to properly torque the ARP bolts.
There has to be many dealers and shops that have ARP lube around?

Cheers
