Default help, no boost!!!!!

i ave just ad my s2 rebuilt using a 1.9 bottom end,it also has a bigger turbo, -31, piper 285t2 cam k-n etc, the problem is there is no boost at all, the car hasn't been set up yet but i would of thought i wud be able to feel it pullin, n e ideas fella's

i take it if the car hasnt been set up then it hasent been run in! so wtf are you doin taking it over 3k and trying to get boost for?! it will only end in tears!! i guess the builder of the engine turned the boost right down on tha actuator to stop you blowing ya engine! either that or a boost hose aint connected!

But if its just been rebuilt then you should be canning it!

As James said really...you should really be boosting at all for the first thousand miles and then again until the car is setup...but reasons why you aint boosting are what James said and to go a bit further, the actuator might be sticking, turbo bolts might have come lose, is there a bleed valve on the car?

As james said the person who built your engine might have turned the boost all the way down. But dont listen to what hes says on the last line

what not canning a newly built engine?!

ok super man! you go rag a turbo engine an boost it up with mineral oil in!

edited loads of times cus i couldnt get the bold feature to work!
