the fronts wont come off as there are 3 or 4 nuts on the inside, which wont come off so you will need to grind them off, least you know its prob gen wings you have.
not sure how much to replace an arch, but the inner is gone too so that will need repaired too.
drivers side looks in very good shape, best colour too!

it needs repaired on the edges as the inner and outer arch meets where yours is rotten, when the outside is gone the inside rots too,you can get the full inner panel still,id just cut off the bits needed and weld them in,its not hard to do,id say a days work for a bodyshop to do,maybe a bit more depending how far the rot goes then a day for prep and paint at a guess, well going by how long it took to do mine.mine wasnt metallic with laquer though.

got 3 quotes today

Ł250 to sort out the sill and the arch thing is the guy said no point putting in new panels on it and would be better putting a fiberglass arch in it so thats a no straight away !!

2nd was Ł150 inc the new arch (in metal lol) but was russian and tryed selling me a new paint job for 1100 but he aint got a oven !!!! NO again

then i went to the garage i got the new clutch as i was in the area and they test drove it to confirm its slipping and they said it slips in 4th so there going to change it for free and going to put in a new one ,,,
but he said try his mate who is retired and dont paint no more but does odd bits here and there, paid him a visit and he was glad to see a old school ford and said he cut it out and said he repair inner arch and put a new skin on the out side for Ł100 inc filler and making in all smooth and primmer,,, so not to bad in the end. thought i was looking around 500 but it still 100 out of the respray money

so had a good day for the s2 even tho nothing is done yet, and he cant do it till next friday after the clutch is going in,,, more time more money but will be repaired and rot free

thats all fairly simple stuff to fit mate, the only time i dont do stuff to my car myself is when i dont have the right equipment or expertise, they are pretty simple cars really so if your willing to have a go u can do most things yourself, ill gladly give u a hand with things,
im just collecting the bits to do an efi conversion myself lol ill let u kno how it pans out

I use a place @ the top of Bluebell Hill just off the M2. I live near you and work in a bodyshop so I can get stuff done for free, yet I travel to him and pay for the work. That should give you an idea of the quality. He does Mercedes Direct cars from as far as Eastbourne so, again, an idea of the quality.

He is not the cheapest (he does mine @ mates rates as I used to work with his wife) but he is one of the best I know.

PM me if you are interested and I will send you his address and phone number.
