Hi there Ford lovers,

I did a search for my question but not knowing all technical words in English makes it kind a difficult..

I want to connect a turbo pressure gauge to my turbo system but can't really find out where to connect it best. Could you give me an exact location to connect this gauge and if worthfull any tips?

Thanx!

Motor is an escort rs turbo 1600

Thanks !

I will hook it up right there! Would it make a difference if i took it from the right one (shorter tube to the gauge, cos that one is allready behind my dash..)?
Just my curiousity

That's a cool little project you've got there. How well does everything fit in the bay?
I would like to build a locost cvh turbo when I get bored of my bonus.
How does it drive, any problems with turbo power and a v light chassis and rwd?
Do you have a build thread anywhere?

It's a 20 year old project to be honest.. I purchased this car last summer and just drove it like it was...

This winter i completely rebuilt the front and repainted every tiny bit. I did much much more but as said, if i had to write those thi9ngs down here it would took me ages tot translate all technical words..
I will post a before and after pic when the wether is a bit nicer...after my rebuilt it has not been out of the garage actually ... but hey, he and i cant wait!!

I think the rst suites the westfield nice, enough power, and i do not intend to tune up the engine, i just want to know right away if there's something wrong with it. Therefore i installed oil temperature and now a turbo pressure gauge. After all, the engine is more than 21 years old.. but the cars is only 460 kilo's, roughly 1 bhp per 3 kilo's (that's more than a basic porsche cayenne! )

It fits perfectly, only the intercooler should be mounted in a more "windy" place, but i am still figuring out where... (post pic soon) But take care: it is a left hand steered westy, i can imaging things not fitting properly when this car should be a right hand drive...

So sorry mate, i dont have a build thread, but i promise i will when i am going to build my ac cobra kit (

The tube/hose left of the radiator is going thrue the intercooler (wich is mounted behind the radiator), that kind a sucks, i guess, so if someone has an idea...

please forgive me for using crappy English when it becomes too technical..
