Default Replacing MFI injectors

Got myself new ones to fit this afternoon c/w retaining clamps.

I take it will be easier to remove charge pipe and throttle body to get better access.

Then I guess its a case of undoing the pipe from the injector, separating the two and removing the clamps.

No need to remove charge carrier or tb mate. Just undo the 8mm nut pull em out.
Far left two a bit awkward but simple enough job mate.

I found it's a good idea to wiggle the injector out a couple mill and get a spanner on them as you undo the injector pipe from the injector. I don't think that the clamps hold them tight enough to stop them turn at the same time.

Job done was easiest to remove the throttle body which gave much more space to work with.

Motorsport Developments are selling new ones for circa Ł125 iirc or you can get them refurbished for Ł15 each. Try injectorcleaning.co.uk.

There was someone on ebay selling a new set for Ł100 and another selling refurbished ones who I made an offer to.
