Default What clutch too handle 240+ bhp

My clutch started too badly slip, wat is the best one too choose and get one from, its running 247bhp,

Mine runs 250/250 and I use a Alcon 6 paddle plate and helix cover, works perfect and isn't too heavy or sharp

eBay I would say bud, I got plate off eBay and had a cover at work sure Alcon would do a cover too though

Really nice, hence I dunno why people use ap clutches as they're harsh, this is really liveable with

i only bought mine as it was the best out to handle the power at the time, now theres a bloody 6 paddle LOL, might have to get one what they cost

as jimbo says alcon 6, its the only clutch i would use in an rst. i used standard cover with mine but mine is running nowhere near that power

I dont think Rick means there is anything wrong with it Jimbo, some of us dont want to run a paddle clutch (bit juderry and wear faster) so the -35 is the only real alternative for that sort of power.

I got an ap 4 paddle jobbie for my zvh turbo! Jano @ okc recommended that clutch so hopefully it lasts!

i too use the ap clutch and on normal cable drive it was really hard to push down so swapped straight to hydrolic and is now sooooooo nice and handles the power really well but on cable drive the alcon is better to live with but crazycage destroyed his with 260bhp in about a week i think as they don't like repeated hard launches fine once moving i.e track but not a pod clutch
