Hi, is there anyone who sells modified and preferably uprated engine mounts to allow me to fit my zetec turbo engine into my s2 escort rs turbo?

Yeah, thats a sweet geabox mount, i'd also like one of those to mount my MTX .

Anyone any info on engine mounts? Could i make the top one using a CVH and a Zetec mount?

I'm not sure but I think you just mod the CVH one dont you?

 

you could do ,i have done it like before . i now use a void bush like on the gearbox.

Gary ive got that gearbox mount, but when i off it upto the inner wing its dosnt look stong enough (inner wing) as its only one skin. Is this right?

you can use a cvh mount no problems..we did a zetec conversion in my mates rsi and just cut one of the holes off the mount and welded it on to suit zetec engine..held the engine no problems..not sure if it will last forever but this one lasted a good two years of abuse..

slightly off topic but does anyone have any info on what mount to use to fit rs2000 engine into a mk3 escort? this one is a bit more complicated than a zetec

 

you could beef the area up with some 3mm plate.
