Default Little or No Boost

Took the turbo out last night since it was dry and i noticed there was little or no boost max 3psi roughly

Got the car back home and everything looked ok. The only thing i noticed is that on the back of the turbo there is a small black pipe has halved away which is connected on by a big nut. Anybody know what this is for and where the other end should connect to?

Car was boosting fine before the battery died and it got a new timing belt, plugs and a coil.

Its not the oil feed that is a silver braided line which goes to the top of the turbo.

This other one come from the back and to the bottomof the turbo.

just tryin to think m8, u got oil feed at top, return at bottom, water feed/return assumin its a s2, charge pipe, and the 2 lil pipes that go to the amal valve which is sometimes bypassed with a bleed valve

the metal one? thats the water feed mate, not everyone uses water to cool the turbo as it obviously has an effect on the runnin temps

Ok thanks guys,

i will get the timing checked out and see what happens.

The only thing that was wrong when the belt was changed is the when it was done previously it was put on backwards and the car had been set up on the rollers like that.
