Default Whats it worth

I have a S2 89 Escort Rs turbo, with all the added extras, steering wheel, amplifier for stereo, computer ect....

car has 55,000 genuine miles on it and is totally mint, not one bit of rust anywhere on the car, has a stage 1 chip and exhaust....

how much would it be worth?

here is a pic....

The seats and everything are totally mint with no tears or stretch marks or anything...

i think if you take off and replace everything that wasn't standard on the car ( dump valve , air filter, steering wheel,no. plates etc.) you could be looking at anywhere between £3.5k and £5k depending upon history.

Nice one, but the steering wheel is standard, it was an optional extra at purchase....and i think the number plate is a standard one...

the number plate looks non-standard as the letters seem to close together, but that's just a small detail. you could make a bit of money by selling the exhaust and chipped ecu on, i've even got a standard one lying around somewhere. people seem to go for standard 'unmolested' examples like yours, and it does look mint.

i think i'd put it up for £3995-£4500 and gauge the interest.

might be one to keep though aswell

100miles? would you want to use a car like that? be a shame to spoil it. you could get an rs500 or a highly modded escos i guess. hell you could even have mine and still have 14k to spend

Ok,

Firstly, I would agree, take it back to standard, did it come with 90 spec interior but 88 spec bumper / spoiler ?

Shame you cut the standard boost hoses, I have a set if you need them

Price wise, I picked up a white G reg, 50K on the clock, 1 owner from new, almost full ford service history. Full 90 spec setup. It was totally standard though, even had the original pipe on it

I picked it up for just under 3K It is very clean, not mint, but I am a bit of a bufty and doing my underside on the car at the mo

I would say price depends on the cars history, is it fully documented ?

Also, have you had the underneath done then? Bet I can find atleast one bit of rust, surface atleast

Good luck with the sale matey.

Car looks very nice
