Anyone run one & what you do with the alternator

alternator you could fabricate a bracket to come off the arb corner plate (not sure what a s2 set up is like, have only looked into s1 / rs16i)

they not needed really imo a baffled sump should be more then adequate. cant think of anyone having oil surge issues

will free up a little power tho and prevention IS better than cure

16i ill be useing never thought about mounting of the engine only thing i could think of is mounting it to the back

Horrendous job. Only go dry sump if you have too.

I am and the alternator is being changed for a tiny Denso item with custom mounting brackets water pump mods and cutting the new sump about to get the oil pump where it will work best.

it would be a struggle to fit it
the alternator would need moving slightly and have to be smaller
there is alot of clearance issues but i bet its not impossible!

Have you got any pics mate
cutting the new sump about ? i thought a dry sump would be already to bolt on

Nope they dont seem to make a dry sump for a FWD application only RWD.

Out with the welder!

and thier was me thinking all cvh's where fwd
itll be easyier to sell up but thats just sensible
wish id had a closer look when i was up scholes place i know he had on 1 on his engine
