Default piper T2 or newman stage 3?

which is best between 240-260? soild lifters? which works best with T34/48 ext/L8?
spec of rest my engine
mahle pistons standard (CR)
PEC rods
payen head gasket
ported head
EFI manifold
t34/48 ext housing
L8
grs intercooler

Yes solid lifters and double valve spring although i was told to not use the double valve springs

Not to use the double valve springs?did they say why.seems strange.

alot of it is also low oil pressure on the head

i looked earlier on thier web ite and couldn't find a cvh one i have gone kent cvh 35 with a vernier going to stick with hydraulic lifters as i am not planning mega power has anyone else had this kit

No need, standard springs i hear are fine for 6500rpm, any more spring pressure than necessary (for your rpm limit) and you just pointlessly increase frictional loads and wear.

well im looking for 7000rpm limit on mine so would the standard springs still be ok

Im sure what ever spring are supplied with the newmans cam are man enough. Some one like Karlos will be able to tell you.

ok mate well im gunna get a newman at the end of the month but aint got a clue how to adjust the solid lifters

I run stock 20 year old springs as instructed by Karl Norris and my limiter was at 7200rpm, did many many runs at that without probs only dropped back to 6600rpm because my T3 runs out of puff long before that, also IIRC Tim runs them at 7800rpm so they will be fine Mark.
Anything heavier and your just wearing away your cam and lifters for no reason, CVH heads have a very heavy valve train and poor lubrication so it's not good at the best of times lol

wicked cheers karlos your the man lol.... so i need to buy cam/lifters and tool and ive got the slightly uprated valve springs they used with the power engineering cam which are like standard ones

wicked well im so close cant wait to here 7000rpm cvh at 2bar of boost with 4" scorpian tail pipe poping and banging lol
