going to attempt to start my car the weekend ready for its mot..it has been standing for about 8month without being started at all in that time..im after some advice or tips on best thing to do (if anything) before i start it up. thye top end will no doubt be bone dry, so was wondering if its best to pour oil over the rockers etc in case i do any damage..thanks people

 

Remove plugs, unplug fuel pump relay, crank for a good 30sec to a Min in 10sec bursts to get the oil round the engine and pressure up, then go for it!
Oh and I would use a fresh filter and oil to.
